I've been sitting here for the last few evenings thinking more and more that my entries around news releases are kind of jumpy. At first it seems like you’re watching the impulse and everything is clear, but then price makes one sharp spike and you can no longer tell where the proper entry is and where it’s just noise. I’ve tried a couple of approaches on Pocket, but for now it feels like without your own logic it’s basically a lottery.
I’m curious how everyone handles this for themselves. Some wait the first 2-3 minutes, some jump in right on the move, and some try to trade only once things have already started to fade. I’m leaning more toward simple pocket option strategies for now, without any extra bells and whistles, but even there it’s not all that smooth. Maybe someone has a working approach specifically for news-driven conditions? Or is it better not to try to catch everything in general?
