I’ve been sitting here for days spinning around the same thought: is a 5-minute binary options strategy actually workable, or is it mostly about nerves and luck. I tried a couple of versions on demo, and the picture looked nice, but then on a live chart everything starts to get messy, especially when the candle moves at the last moment. Damn, sometimes it really feels like you see everything and it still comes to nothing.

I’m not looking for some kind of magical system, I’m just curious how you approach it. Some people enter strictly with the trend, some wait for a pullback, some avoid news altogether. Right now it seems to me that on the 5-minute timeframe, what matters more isn’t the entry point itself, but the ability not to jump in one more time than you should. But maybe I just haven’t fully figured it out. For those who’ve really traded this way for a long time — is there any consistency there, or is it mostly self-deception?
