In short, I spent a couple of evenings on the Pocket Option demo account and realized that without it my head would already be a mess. On a live account I would probably have started getting into trades too early, but here at least I can calmly see how an entry behaves on a pullback and where I usually get taken out by emotions. It became especially noticeable that I close positions too early, although in theory I could have waited a little longer.
But there’s one thing I didn’t understand: sometimes the demo seems to give me a decent result too easily, and I can’t figure out whether I’ve actually started to understand something or whether everything just feels simpler on demo. How do you guys use this mode anyway — just to test entries, or do you actually spend weeks there until stability appears? And I’m also curious, do you trade the same size on demo as you later do on a regular account, or is that comparison not really valid in itself?
